As a target shooter or a hunter , it is imperative to give your equipment the utmost care it deserves. This is where archery quivers come in handy. Aside from protecting your most valuable arrows, but also to protect you and the people around you from harm or injury. Quivers have been traditionally made of leather, wood, furs, bark and other natural materials.
The first thing to consider when selecting a quiver is the type. There are some that you can attach to your hip as a belt. Most target shooters like the hip quiver because they can handily keep their arrows by their side. If you’re into hunting though, this type may not be advisable for you because you may have a hard time going through thick bushes. Other innovative quivers are designed for special utilization like speed shooting and hunting, you can simply attach them to the bow A lot of archers still use the traditional ones for ecumenical arrow storage and target practice. Some bow quivers are attached permanently while others can be detached. The detachable ones are great because you can easily take away the weight from the bow before you shoot. They’re not so popular with hunters though.
Another thing to contemplate about when choosing among assorted archery quivers is the size. Obviously, you don’t need a big one if you do not have plenty of tools to store.
